ICEED trains another 25 young men and women on Solar system installation in Borno State.

In continuation of the delivery of the MAIDA objectives, the International Center for Energy, Environment and Development (ICEED), has trained another batch of 25 young men and women from Bama/Gwoza LGAs, on solar system installation.  This training covered classroom sessions, where basic electricity, a wide range of solar concepts and techniques were treated. It also involved hands-on installation sessions that took trainees through the entire processes of solar installation and connection to buildings. The MAIDA program, among other activities, builds the resilience of the conflict-affected people through skill training in Biu, Kwaya Kusar, Hawul, Jere, Mafa, and Bama/Gwoza Local Government Areas of Borno State.
